The CCC has a 24-hour answering service that will answer phone calls when office staff is unable to get to the phone. Each therapist checks in with the service regularly during the day and will make every attempt to return your call within that same day.

  2. We will talk you through a brief phone screening to determine if you are appropriate for our counseling services and the services that will best serve your needs. The screening process is free of charge and will take approximately 10-20 minutes. At that time, we will determine future payments for services (insurance or sliding scale) and scheduling availability.

  3. When appropriate, a 60-90 minute intake will be scheduled. The counselor will ask questions and will provide information about treatment services.

  4. Following the intake, the counselor will provide an appropriate recommendation for treatment which may include: individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, couples counseling, and/or referrals to other treatment providers who may better serve your needs.

  5. The counselor will provide a paper copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices required by HIPAA; you may also read this document online here. You will be asked to sign a consent form before your first counseling session.
